‏Fabian Jansen‏

The red haired & bearded Dutch multi-talent Fabian Jansen, aka Faab, is an actor, scenarist, director, producer and tutor. He was born and raised in The Netherlands, 1983. In 2005 he graduated for his 4-year BA Acting Course, at the Toneelacademie Maastricht (The Institute of Performative Arts of Maastricht, The Netherlands).

Fabian successfully played in and/or directed more than 40 plays on stages in Aruba, Vienna, Linz, Copenhagen, London, Bruxelles, Gent, Rotterdam, Den Bosch, Amsterdam and Broadway, NYC. Besides theater Fabian played several leading parts in movies & series and worked with directors as Peter Greenaway, Saskia Diesing and Mark de Cloe.

In 2017 he founded creative company Fabuch. With Fabuch he produces a broad variety of projects with which he focuses on the urging stories of the edge of society, with Fabuch Schau! for his theatrical works and Cinema Fabuch as it's cinematic branch. "He has a very distinctive choice of topics and a clear, calm style which sets him apart from the crowd. He touches upon politically and culturally sensitive subjects with a humanistic perspective without ever becoming patronizing to the audience. His visual style is precise, detailed and refreshing." In January 2018 he finished the short film Lady, (29 minutes), which he produced, wrote and directed. With 3 new film projects and a new theatre play coming up next season ('18/'19), Fabuch is growing fast.

As a tutor Fabian teaches Acting for Camera, Improvisation for Ensemble and Study of Imagination, at the leading theatre academy of The Netherlands, The Institute of Performative Arts of Maastricht.

Jansen is a member of Atelier Néerlandais in Paris, France.
