‏Miguel Fasa‏

Miguel Angel Martinez was born on July 19, 1989 and has always had a love for performing. Whether it was mimicking dances at parties that he saw on TV or just being a clown, Miguel always found himself in the middle of something. Although always feeling a pull towards the arts it wasn't until he was about 12 that the young boy really fell in love with the idea of becoming an actor. Sitting with his dad watching Keanu Reeves in The Matrix, he saw how much his father was amazed and entranced by the movie and from that point on his goal was to act in a film and watch it with his father, hoping to see the same look of approval and content.

Miguel was the first born (among three children) and next generation of the family. His parents, Luz Marina Rego, a work from home mother, and Jose Martinez, a paramedic, were both from Cuba and have ancestry from Spain. As a kid Miguel spent most of his time outside with friends recording stunts and small scenes he wrote on a camcorder. By the time he was 18 Miguel had gone through 3 different high schools until finally ending up settling in Cypress Bay High in Weston, Florida. During that time he really got involved and his passion for acting took off, right after graduation Miguel went to New World School of the Arts in Miami. It was here that he got involved with the wrong crowd and for the next 5 years struggled to fight off his addiction to substances. Although his whole family was always there providing support, it was his mother that finally pulled him out and showed him the light in this time of darkness.

Now, over 4 years clean, Miguel continues his journey with a new outlook and respect on life. He has released songs all about empowerment and being able to overcome the hurdles life throws your way. To this day Miguel works hard on one of his biggest goals of moving people and watching that movie with his father. Being a beacon of inspiration and a voice of reason for all still struggling with challenges, Miguel chooses to lead by example saying "Take in and learn as much as you can, live in the moment, and always be humble".
