Born and raised in Greater Boston, Jay Thomas Fox is a family man, actor, entrepreneur, rainmaker, and coach. Since late 2015, Jay has taken the acting world by storm, i.e., the lead in an internationally televised TV show, supporting roles in multi-award-winning full-feature films, pilots, shorts, commercials, music videos, and pivotal roles in two (post-production) independent films with scheduled 2019 releases.
Notably, Jay was the lead actor in Investigation Discovery's TV series, 'Guilty Rich' (S1:E3). The 'Deadly Delusions' episode portrayed the downward spiral of multi-millionaire, John du Pont, his 'Foxcatcher' wrestling team, and ultimate murder of Olympic Gold Medalist, Dave Schultz. Moreover, Jay played Captain O'Donnell in the award-winning psychological thriller, 'Disposable' - which made the final round at the 2017 Hoboken International Film Festival (considered "a top-10 worldwide" by Fox & Time Warner) - and won 'Best Thriller' at the 2017 Buffalo Niagara International Film Festival. He was also Agent McCulloch in the sci-fi thriller 'Brute Sanity' - winning 'Best Feature Film' at the 2017 Something Wicked Film Festival, 'Best Sci-Fi Feature' at the 2017 International Horror Hotel, and several other nominations.
Jay's brush with acting dates back decades: a casting finalist in Randal Kleiser's 'Blue Lagoon' (1980); featured in the opening scene of Savage Steve Holland's, 'One Crazy Summer' (1984); and even a stint as a print model in his 20s... As his body of work continues to grow, Jay projects (what he coins) a "magnum opus mindset" into each new production. When asked how you became an actor, he quips, "Being smack-dab-in-the-middle of nine siblings hardwired me to handle just about anything." With family (and close actor friends) in NYC and LA, Jay looks to make a bi-coastal impact.
When not in front of a camera, Jay spearheads a boutique demand generation company while also burning the midnight oil developing a cutting-edge sales intelligence software. If not with family, onset, or architecting tomorrow's technologies, he is likely on a mat somewhere in New England. At 56, Jay is one of the oldest (open tournament) competitive wrestlers in the United States. A touted coach from K-12 to College to professional MMAers, and versed in Folk (Scholastic), Freestyle, Greco Roman, and Catch-As-Catch-Can, he is considered an ambassador to arguably the toughest sport on the planet.
