Marguerite is Super Channel's Head of Creative Development, overseeing the pre-licensing and development financing of Canadian series, movies and documentaries. In addition to her work for Super Channel, Marguerite is Principal of Megalomedia Productions Inc, a consulting company focusing on script development and project marketability. Recent clients include Back Alley Films, Michael McGowan, Seven24 and Amaze Film + TV. For the Back Alley series Bomb Girls (Shaw) and Played (Bell), Marguerite was Executive Story Consultant and Development Executive respectively. She has also story edited many films including Still Mine, One Week, Poor Boy's Game and Walk All Over Me. Previously, Marguerite was Vice President of Development and Production for Odeon Films, an Alliance Atlantis Company. In this capacity, she oversaw the selection, development and production of Canadian films acquired for distribution. She Executive Produced Saint Ralph, Fubar, waydowntown, Flower and Garnet and others. For the Toronto International Film Festival, Marguerite programmed Canadian feature films for the 2006 and 2007 festivals. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Media Development Corporation and chairs the Governance Committee. She is also on the Advisory Board of the Humber Media Studies Film and Television Program. She has taught across Canada and has been a guest speaker at Toronto International Film Festival, Vancouver International Film Festival, Strategic Partners, Toronto Screenwriting Conference, the Canadian Film Centre, the National Screen Institute and has also sat on numerous juries.
