‏Debra Leigh-Taylor‏

Debra was born in north west London and now lives in the Chiltern area of Buckinghamshire. Acting and singing formed a major part of her early life as she realised her love of performing and became involved in a local fringe theatre west of London. During this time she learned all aspects of live performance and stage production and took on many different roles in plays that ranged from tragedy to farce which developed her versatility, whilst also taking on many leading roles in musical theatre productions. Being a strong vocalist she also became involved in recording lead and backing vocals in various studios and began writing her own material; a pursuit she still enjoys. A music video to one of her songs; Why Did You Say Goodbye, was filmed in 2015. Her transition into filming began after having a family and she now has extensive experience as a film actress. After numerous small roles in mainstream films and TV dramas such as Injustice (2011), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011) and Pan (2015), she has now undertaken various roles in independent productions and has proved herself a talented and versatile screen actress. These include the role of Clare in 3Some (2013), Indie Series Awards Winner 2014, June in Roots (2015) and Beth in The Attachment (2016), winner of Best Horror Feature Film 2016 (DEFF). In 2016 Debra also filmed the part of Meredith Jones for the feature film Dogged (2017).
